Privacy notice

Effective date: August 27, 2026.

This notice describes the first public version of the Boober Tours: Pedicab Rides mobile app. The platform connects riders, approved pedicab drivers, and authorized operator staff.

Data we use

• Account data, such as your name, email address, phone number, and account status.
• Ride data, such as pickup, destination, passenger count, fare, ride status, assigned driver, and support records.
• Foreground location when you choose your current pickup or when an approved driver is Active and keeps the app open.
• Payment records, such as amount, status, refund, provider reference, and a safe card label. Stripe can store the selected card for later rides. The app does not store the raw card number or card security code.
• App installation and device data needed for secure sign-in, service protection, and provider operation. The first release does not collect push tokens.
• Technical data from Google Maps and Stripe. This can include map and payment-screen interaction, request data, an SDK identifier, crash data, and performance data.

How we use data

We use this data to provide accounts, quotes, dispatch, ride tracking, payment, receipts, support, security, and required records. Google Maps and Stripe also use some technical data to operate, protect, and improve their services. The app does not use this data for advertising or cross-app tracking. We do not sell personal data.

Location limits

The first release does not request background location. Rider location is not tracked in the background. An approved driver can share a current position only while Active and while the app stays open. Stale driver location is not used as current location.

Sharing

We share data only with the operator and driver needed for a ride, service providers needed to run the platform, and authorities when law requires it. Service providers include Supabase for accounts and platform data, Stripe for payment, Google Maps Platform for maps and routes, and the site host. A rider sees an assigned driver position only after assignment. Public driver information does not include private contact data or exact live location.

Control and deletion

You can manage a saved card, sign out, and request permanent account deletion in the app. Account deletion removes the payment-provider customer and its saved card methods. Required ride, payment, security, and audit records can remain without direct profile data when law or operational integrity requires them.
