Service terms

These terms apply to the Boober Tours: Pedicab Rides mobile app. Use the app only if you can enter a valid agreement where you live.

Ride requests

A quote describes the selected ride before you confirm it. A ride request is not accepted until an eligible driver accepts it. Pickup time and arrival estimates are ranges. Traffic, crowds, weather, closures, and driver availability can change them.

Rider duties

Use accurate account and ride information. Confirm that you are ready at the pickup point before dispatch. Select a vehicle with enough capacity. Follow lawful safety instructions from the driver and operator.

Driver duties

Driver mode is only for approved drivers with an active account and assigned vehicle. An Active driver must use the location choice that the app shows. Foreground-only location requires the driver to keep the app open. A driver who accepts a ride must go directly to the rider, unless safety or an emergency prevents it.

Prices and payment

The app shows the approved fare before dispatch. You must prepay for a ride that you book in the app. The secure payment provider can store your selected card for later rides after you give consent. The app does not store the raw card number or card security code. You can manage the saved card in the app. Any approved wait or stop amount must follow the price shown in the app and the applicable operator policy.

After a completed ride, you can choose a voluntary tip of 20%, 30%, 50%, or 100% of the ride fare. Stripe charges the selected tip as a separate payment. The full tip goes to the assigned driver. The server records a successful tip one time.

Version 1.2 launch credit

The first 100 eligible Boober rider accounts can each claim one $10 ride credit while the offer is active. An administrator can stop new claims when the service is busy. A credit that was already issued stays available with no automatic expiry during this beta. The credit is not cash, is not transferable, and cannot make an account balance negative.

You must save a valid payment method before you use the credit. The credit applies to the ride fare before the card amount. The card authorization covers the remaining fare and the approved pickup-wait buffer. The credit does not reduce normal driver earnings.

Cancellations and service limits

The current service does not collect a late-cancellation or no-show fee. A free cancellation releases the payment authorization. A driver cancellation can cause immediate redispatch. The platform can restrict access for fraud, unsafe conduct, repeated misuse, or a legal requirement.

Safety

Pedicab travel has normal road, weather, and passenger risks. The app does not replace emergency services. Contact local emergency services for an urgent danger.
